Welcome to the official Freeland Barbour website. This should give you some idea of the goings-on in my musical world, past, present and future. There's a comprehensive list of my own recordings to date and the opportunity to buy those that are currently available (most of them fortunately), and a chance to hear about any forthcoming projects and performances that may be of interest. We do our best to keep the site up-to-date and hope you enjoy having a look at it.

News/Projects
The 'Music For Old Time Dancing' project is now complete and Vol. 2 has been released. It now stretches to 6 CD's and Vols. 3,4,5 and 6 will be released throughout 2012. It's a huge project with, over the 6 CD's, some 141 tracks covering 116 dances and 51 alternative dances, just under 250 tunes, and well over 7 hours of music.
The next recording project is a new CD from The Occasionals with recording planned for March.
